Event Overview
Triathlon Pink Brisbane is held on Sunday, 25 October 2026 at the Sleeman Sports Complex in Chandler, Queensland. This round opens the Triathlon Pink 2026/2027 season in South East Queensland and uses a pool swim with a closed-road bike course. Women-only triathlon distances range from Short through to Ultra, and there are dedicated kids events for ages 7–13. Relay participation is also available for women.
What the Course Demands
The Brisbane round combines a pool swim with a bike segment conducted on closed roads, which can simplify navigation and reduce external variables on race day. Across the Short to Ultra options, the main challenge is managing transitions and pacing as the distance increases, particularly when moving from bike to run. With multiple waves and categories, athletes benefit from being comfortable in a staged, event-centre environment.
Who This Event Suits Best
This event suits first-time triathletes looking for a structured entry point, as well as returning athletes who want to test a different distance within the same setting. The women-only format supports solo or relay participation, and the kids races provide an accessible option for younger athletes aged 7–13. It can also suit athletes seeking a shorter-format triathlon earlier in the season.
