What is the difference between coaching and a training plan?
Monthly coaching ($249/month gives you a fully personalised program that is adjusted weekly based on your progress, recovery, and feedback — plus unlimited communication with your coach via WhatsApp or email. A training plan (from $59) is a one-off structured program built for your goals and fitness level, delivered via TrainingPeaks, but without ongoing coach support or weekly adjustments.
What happens after I sign up?
Once you subscribe, you'll receive a link to our onboarding form where you share your training history, goals, availability, and any injuries or limitations. We then review your data, set up your TrainingPeaks account, and deliver your first personalised training plan — typically within 24 hours of completing onboarding.
Do I need a TrainingPeaks account?
Yes — all coaching and training plans are delivered through TrainingPeaks. A free TrainingPeaks account is all you need. It syncs with most GPS watches and devices including Garmin, Wahoo, Suunto, COROS, and Apple Watch, so your workouts and data flow automatically.
What level of athlete do you coach?
Everyone — from complete beginners preparing for their first 5K or sprint triathlon, through to experienced athletes chasing Ironman qualifications and competitive podium results. Your plan is built around your current fitness, experience, and goals, so it's never too easy or too advanced.
Do I need a power meter, heart rate monitor, or special equipment?
No. All you need is a watch or phone that tracks distance or time. Heart rate and power data help us fine-tune your training, but we work with whatever equipment you have. We'll never ask you to buy gear you don't need.
How often is my training plan updated?
With monthly coaching, your plan is reviewed and adjusted weekly based on how your training is going, how you're recovering, and any changes to your schedule. Training plans (one-off purchases) are delivered as a complete program and are not updated after delivery.
What if I get injured or need time off?
Your coach adjusts your plan around injuries, illness, travel, or busy periods — that's one of the biggest advantages of personalised coaching. If you need to pause your subscription entirely, just give us 30 days' notice. There are no cancellation fees.
Can I get coaching if I live outside Australia?
Absolutely. We coach athletes in over 20 countries including New Zealand, Sweden, the UK, the US, Canada, Norway, and Denmark. Everything is delivered online through TrainingPeaks and coach communication happens via WhatsApp, email, or your preferred platform.
How is this different from a free training plan or app?
Free plans and apps use generic templates that don't account for your fitness level, lifestyle, or how your body responds to training. Our coaching adapts every week based on real data — your power numbers, heart rate trends, recovery, and feedback. You also have direct access to an experienced coach whenever you have a question, not a chatbot or algorithm.
What sports are covered by training plans?
We offer one-off training plans for running (5K through to 100km ultra), cycling (road, time trial, and MTB), and triathlon (sprint, Olympic, Half Ironman, and full Ironman). How do I pay and what payment methods do you accept?
Monthly coaching is billed automatically each month via our secure checkout. We accept all major credit and debit cards. Training plans are a one-time payment at purchase. There are no sign-up fees, hidden costs, or long-term contracts.
Can I switch sports or upgrade from a plan to full coaching?
Yes. If you start with a training plan and want to move to monthly coaching, simply sign up for coaching and your coach will pick up where your plan left off. If you're already on coaching and want to change sports — for example, from cycling to triathlon — just let your coach know and your program will be adapted.
