Event Overview
WSTC Triathlon Series: Race 6 is part of the Western Suburbs Triathlon Club’s 2025/2026 series and is scheduled for Sunday, 19 April 2026 at the Altona Beach foreshore in Victoria. Athletes can choose from Dash, Enticer and Sprint triathlon distances, with aquabike and aquathon alternatives also offered. The race follows the standard swim-bike-run sequence, with event operations based from the club rooms near the Altona Surf Life Saving Club.
What the Course Demands
This race uses established foreshore-based courses, with the run set along the Altona foreshore path and the bike leg travelling the length of the Esplanade. With multiple short-format options, the key demands are efficient pacing across all three legs and smooth transitions to protect overall time. The compact distances place a premium on maintaining form from the opening swim through to the final run segment.
Who This Event Suits Best
Race 6 suits athletes looking for a local, short-course triathlon within a club series setting, including newer triathletes who want manageable swim-bike-run distances. It also works well for returning athletes who prefer clear format options such as aquabike or aquathon. Age eligibility applies by distance, so it can fit juniors progressing through the series as well as adults.
