Your plan is delivered through TrainingPeaks, giving you easy access on your phone or computer. It works seamlessly with the Garmin, Wahoo and Polar devices most athletes in Ireland already use.

What equipment do I need to start?

You can begin with whatever you currently have. Whether you're training with heart rate, power, GPS or simply pacing by feel, your programme is shaped to suit common Irish training conditions—rain, wind and all.

Can I keep training if I’m travelling?

Absolutely. Many Irish athletes travel for work or head abroad for warm-weather training. Your sessions can be followed anywhere, and we’ll adjust your plan based on the facilities you have access to while away.

How many hours per week do I need to train?

Training time depends on your goals and race distance. We work with athletes who train a few hours per week as well as those preparing for long-course events. Your plan is built around the time you can realistically commit.

Do I need regular pool or open-water access?

Consistent swimming is helpful, but you can still start without ideal access. If pool times are limited, we include land-based swim strength and mobility work until you can get more water time during Ireland’s warmer months.

Can you coach me if I live in a rural area?

Yes. We coach athletes from all over Ireland—cities, towns and the countryside. Because coaching is online, location doesn’t matter. Your training is customised to the local roads, trails or pools you have available.

Can I focus on one discipline instead of full triathlon?

Yes. Some athletes choose blocks dedicated solely to running or cycling, especially over the winter. We can create specific build phases for one sport and shift back to full triathlon training when you’re ready.
