Event Overview
Ride The Ranges is a community cycle event in north-east Victoria, scheduled for Sunday 12 April 2026. The ride base is Seven Creeks Park on Kirkland Avenue in Euroa, with routes that start and finish in the Euroa village area near the Strathbogie Ranges. Four ride distances are offered—30km, 68km, 85km and 130km—with staggered start times in the morning. The event is run as a Rotary Club of Euroa project.
What the Course Demands
Course difficulty increases quickly as distance steps up into the Strathbogie Ranges. The 68km, 85km and 130km options are described as having extended sections “going up and down” in the ranges, which tends to reward steady pacing and repeated climbing efficiency. The 30km option is positioned as recreational, while the longer rides are labelled challenging or hard. Riders should also account for riding on public roads under normal road rules.
Who This Event Suits Best
This event suits cyclists who prefer a supported, organised ride format with multiple distance choices from recreational through to a harder long ride. The 30km option aligns with newer riders or those wanting a shorter day out. The 68km and 85km routes suit riders comfortable with sustained undulating terrain. The 130km distance is better matched to experienced cyclists who manage longer durations with significant time in the ranges.
