Event Overview
SEVEN Gravel Race takes place on 16 May 2026 in Nannup, Western Australia, with routes built around seven gravel sectors in the Blackwood Valley between Nannup and Balingup. Riders can choose SEVEN (125km), FIVE (90km), THREE (50km) or ONE (25km) and complete the event in a single day. The event is part of the UCI Gravel World Series, and the start and finish are based in Nannup.
What the Course Demands
Across the full SEVEN route, the organisers describe a course with substantial climbing, including ten major climbs and around 3200 vertical metres over 125km, with pitches that can reach very steep gradients. The sectors are designed to feel distinct from one another, so riders should expect repeated changes in rhythm across climbs, descents and turning roads. There is a stated 10-hour cut-off for the 125km course.
Who This Event Suits Best
This event suits riders who want a structured challenge with a clear step-up pathway across four distances, from 25km participation through to 125km with a firm time limit. The longer options will appeal most to experienced cyclists comfortable managing sustained climbing and variable pacing over many hours. Shorter routes are a practical entry point for newer gravel riders or juniors building event experience.
