Event Overview
Lifecycle CC’s Nundah Criterium (Saturday Afternoon edition) is scheduled for 23 May 2026 at Albert Bishop Park and the Nundah Criterium Circuit in Nundah, Queensland. Racing is run in graded fields and includes Para, men’s, women’s and junior categories. Entry and payment are handled online via EntryBoss, with entries closing the evening prior to race day. Riders require a current AusCycling race licence to compete.
What the Course Demands
As a criterium, the event rewards repeated accelerations, efficient bunch positioning and the ability to hold speed through frequent changes in pace. Races are time-based (for example 35–50 minutes plus two laps in several grades), so pacing needs to match the likely intensity of your field from the opening laps. With multiple grades sometimes sharing the circuit, riders also need strong awareness when passing and being passed.
Who This Event Suits Best
This event suits riders preparing for short, high-intensity racing where tactical decision-making matters as much as fitness. It works well for athletes who are comfortable riding in a bunch and executing clean cornering and safe passing. With categories spanning juniors through women’s and men’s grades, it can also suit developing racers provided they select an appropriate grade and can follow briefing and on-course instructions.
