Event Overview
Run Fest Central Coast is held on Sunday, 27 September 2026 at The Entrance on the Central Coast of New South Wales. Events include a Half Marathon (21.1km), 10km, 5km, and a 3km family fun run. All races start underneath the iconic Entrance bridge, with the race hub and finish line staged at Memorial Park. The Half Marathon heads out to Chittaway Bay and returns to The Entrance.
What the Course Demands
The Half Marathon is described as fast, flat and scenic, which puts the emphasis on controlled pacing and sustained rhythm rather than extended climbing. With out-and-back running to Chittaway Bay and a shared start/finish precinct at Memorial Park, athletes should be ready for early congestion near the bridge and then settle quickly into consistent effort for the main section of the course.
Who This Event Suits Best
This event suits runners looking for a flatter Half Marathon option on the NSW Central Coast, including those targeting an even-paced performance. The 10km and 5km options work well for newer racers or athletes building confidence with shorter distances. The 3km family fun run is appropriate for participants wanting a lower-commitment event day experience.
